HRANA – On Wednesday, September 23, Yousef Rahimi and Azad Rahmati, two residents of Baneh, were arrested by security forces in the city and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to HRANA, citing Kurdpa, Yousef Rahimi and Azad Rahmati were arrested in Baneh.

According to the report, security forces arrested the two men at their respective homes on Wednesday, September 23, without presenting a judicial warrant.

At the time of this report, no information has been obtained regarding the reasons for their arrest, their whereabouts, or the charges brought against them.

Azad Rahmati is married, has children, and is active in environmental issues. Yousef Rahimi is the head of the Haje Cultural and Literary Association.
