HRANA News Agency – Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb has been arrested and is being held in the solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb who had been arrested on November 13 by security forces in his house, is being held in the solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin prison.
A close source to Ahmad’s family announced the news and told HRANA’s reporter, “Mr. Ahmadi during this time has made phone calls several times and has spoken with his family.”
On November 13, plainclothes forces arrested Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb, civil rights activist, in his house in Shahriar.
This civil rights activist had been previously also arrested and imprisoned for his peaceful activities.
Branch number 1 of the revolutionary court of Shahriyar had sentenced Zartosht Ahmadi to 6 months in prison, on charge of sharing posts with criticizing contents on his Facebook page.
Mr. Ahmadi Ragheb has another case about attending a peaceful protest when he was arrested in front of Dena Tire building in Tehran along with other protestors, and transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison, on February 16, 2016. He was released on December 7, 2016 on the bail.
