Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb, civil rights activist who had been arrested in November, was released on the bail from Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb, was released temporarily on the bail of 1 billion IRR, until his trial session.
Need to be mentioned, the bail had been put about a week ago, but he was not being released for unknown reason.
Mr. Ragheb was on hunger strike for some times and some concerning news were publicized about his health condition.
Need to be mentioned, Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb, was arrested at his house in Shahriar by security forces, on November 13, 2016. On the next day he informed his family in a short phone call that he was being kept in ward 209 of Evin prison.
Mr. Ahmadi had been transferred to hall number 1 of ward number 4 of Evin prison, after 1 month in solitary confinement. Previously a close source to his family had told HRANA’s reporter, “He started a hunger strike on the first day that he was transferred to solitary confinement, and after he was transferred to the ward he ended his strike. But started his strike again within a short period”.
This civil rights activist had been arrested and imprisoned several times for his peaceful activities.
The revolutionary court of Shahriar had sentenced him to 6 months in prison on charge of propaganda against the regime, for his critical writings in his Facebook profile.
Mr. Ahmadi Ragheb has another case, regarding his attendance in the protest in front of Dena Tire, on November 22, 2015 in Tehran when he was arrested transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison. He was released on December 6, 2015 on the bail.
