15-Year-Old Girl Arrested by the Intelligence Office of Abadan

HRANA News Agency – A 15-year-old girl in Abadan was arrested by intelligence forces at her high school and transferred to the detention center of Ahvaz intelligence ministry.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence Office of Abadan detained a student named Ma’ed Shabani Nejad (Amouri), born in 2002, on October 18, 2017.

The intelligence Office had arrested the student at her high school located in station 7 and transferred her to an unknown place by surrounding the house of Shabani Nejad and home inspection. Ma’ed Shabani Nejad is studying in high school in the first grade.

The relatives of this teenage girl told that the Intelligence Office of Abadan had told Amouri family that they were ordered from Ahwaz to arrest her and introduce her to Ahwaz intelligence headquarters.

Ms. Shabani Nejad’s father is a political activist, but the reason for the arrest of this teenage girl is still unclear.
