2 Labor Activists Released on the Bail from Sanandaj Prison

HRANA News Agency – Nezam Sadeghi and Korosh Bakhshandeh, two labor activists, were released on the bail from Central Prison of Sanandaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Nezam Sadeghi on 7th May and Korosh Bakhshandeh on 6th May were released on bail of 50 million and 100 million Thomans.

Nezam Sadeghi, member of Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organizations, who has a record of prior arrests and detention, was arrested by several plainclothes officers, and was transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence office in Sanandaj on Wednesday 8th April 2015 when he was in Sanandaj coach station with his wife to travel to their home city, Oshnaviyeh.

One of the close relatives of Nezam Sadeghi, about his charges told HRANA‘s reporter: “He has not been formally indicted and not yet officially been notified of his charges, but his interrogations, were related to his activities in the Coordination Committee.”

Korosh Bakhshandeh, another member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organizations, also was arrested in the evening on 7th March 2015, near his home by the security forces and was transferred to Central Prison of Sanandaj.
