HRANA News Agency – On November 5, two prisoners were hanged on charge of “trafficking drugs” in Parsilon prison in Khorramabad of Lorestan Province.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on November 5, two prisoners were hanged on charge of “keeping and carrying 10 kilograms of drugs” after 8 years imprisonment in Parsilon prison in Khorramabad.
Alireza Darvishi and Hojat (unknown last name), both from Nurabad Delfan were the 2 executed prisoners.
A close source to the prisoners told HRANA’s reporter: “Alireza and Hojat were tried based on the old rules of procedure and had no access to lawyers. While they carried 10 kilos of drugs unknowingly and had no criminal record in this area.”
The source also told: “Each of them were heads of their several younger siblings.”
