2 Prisoners Executed in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two of the six prisoners who had been sentenced to death, were executed following lack of consent by the plaintiff in the Central Prison of Urmia, and the other four were returned to the general ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two of six prisoners, who had been taken to solitary confinement in the Central Prison of Urmia, were executed and two of them obtained the plaintiff’s consents and the other two received respite for one month and for 5 days respectively.

From those six prisoners who had been transferred the execution sentences of Naser Saeidi (Jafari) and Mehdi Nabshi (Nabshian) was conducted after the official paperwork.

In the meantime, Amir Behrooz obtained one month respite and Khalid Zika was given five days to pay 4000 million IRR to satisfy the complainant.

Behnam Hassanzadeh and the sixth prisoner, Hesam, with the consent of the plaintiffs were saved from death and were returned to the general ward.
