5 Detained Activists Transferred to Public Wards of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daeimi has been transferred from ward 2-A of IRGC to women’s ward. Also, Asou Rostami, Ali Nouri, Mohammad Saeid Hossainizadeh Movahhed and Omid Alishenas are transferred from ward 2-A to the ward number 8 of Evin prison. Arash Sadeghi and Majid Moghadam are still in solitary confinements of ward 2-A and under pressure for attending in a TV interview.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Atena Daeimi, civil rights activist, who was arrested on October 11, by the strike of revolutionary guard forces, after more than three months in solitary confinements at ward 2-A, has been transferred to women’s ward, on Monday January 19.
She was under pressure to accept allegations regarding having connection with Ahmad Shaheed, the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, during detention.
Also, Omid Alishenas who was arrested align with Asou Rostami and Ali Nouri, on September 4 and Mohammad Saeid Hossaini Zadeh Movahhed who was arrested on October 15, were transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison.
Need to be mentioned, Asou Rostami and Ali Nouri were arrested after a protest in solidarity with Kobani.
According to the reports, Arash Sadeghi and Majid Moghadam, two civil rights activist are still under pressure in ward 2-A and in solitary confinement to attend in a TV interview.
