Ali Sallanpoor Returned to Prison without Receiving Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Ali Sallanpoor who was sent to Shohada – e – Tajrish hospital, has been returned to prison because of lack of coordination and unavailability of medical requirement.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Sallanpoor, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahri prison of Karaj, was sent to Shohada – e – Tajrish hospital to be examined by the surgery physician and continuation of his medical treatment, on Wednesday December 24. Nevertheless, due to lack of coordination and unavailability of medical requirement, he was sent back to ward number 12 of prison without any treatment.
An informed source told HRANA’s reporter, “Last month this political prisoner had a surgery on his back, and his neck was supposed to be examined and his stitches to be removed”.
This source respond to a question regarding Ali Sallanpoor’s health issues, “The damages are the result of tortures during the interrogation in December 2010, but his medical treatments are going forward very slow, and just after having so much pain.”
As reminder, Ali Sallanpoor was arrested on December 19, 2010, and charged with acts against the national security by advocacy of MEK and sentenced to five years in prison. Currently he is kept in ward number 12 of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj.
