HRANA News Agency – Saeid Razavi Faghih, political prisoner of ward number 7 of Evin prison was sent to Tehran Heart Centre for medical treatment. Mr. Razavi Faghih had complained about the medical negligence since his arrest in March 2014.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Razavi Faghih has recently been transferred to Evin prison during the last days of January.
The former member of central committee of consolidation of unity, was arrested in 2009 and after attending a gathering and giving a speech, and charged with security charges and sentenced to one year in prison.
He had left Iran but was arrested after arrival and sent to Rajaei Shahr prison for serving his sentence in February 2014.
After the end of his sentence, he was kept in Rajaei Shahr prison and in limbo until he was sentenced in a new case again.
Another 3.5 years in prison for this political activist on charges like insulting thesupreme leader (2 years) and propaganda against the regime (1 year) and insulting the council of experts (6 months) was issued for his second case.
Saeid Razavi Faghih announced hunger strike in protest to the negligence of prison authorities and clinic staff towards his health condition. He ended his hunger strike after being sent to Tehran heart hospital after two days.
His hunger strike was in protest to lack of medical treatment and medical negligence and not being sent to the hospital.
