HRANA News Agency – Ali Faezpoor, labour rights activist, has been sentenced to 8 months in prison by branch number 2 of the revolutionary court of Tabriz.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Faezpoor who was arrested on October 3, 2015, after the funeral ceremony of Shahrokh Zamani, has been sentenced to 8 months in prison by branch number 2 of the revolutionary court of Tabriz, on charge of propaganda against the regime.
This labour activist was arrested in front of his house and was transferred to intelligence service of Tabriz on October 3, 2015. The arrest order of Ali Faezipoor for one month was issued on October 10, 2015, by Mohammadzadeh Almanloo the persecutor of branch number 20 of general and revolutionary courts of Tabriz.
According to received reports, “propaganda against the regime in favor of conflicting groups” is one the allegations of Mr. Faezipoor. Previously it was stated that attendance in the funeral ceremony of Shahrokh Zamani is one the reasons of this arrest.
