HRANA News Agency – Ali Tabarzadi was arrested by the police officers after they searched his home.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), police officers visited the house of Ali Tabarzadi, animals’ rights’ activists, searched his house and arrested him and seized his personal belongings such as computers, mobile phone and Books.

One of his close relatives told HRANA’s reporter: “The officers were in his home for two hours and made a real mess. They even did not tell us anything about the reason of Ali’s arrest. But tomorrow, we are going to Evin prison to see if they will release him.”

Regarding the reason of Ali Tabarzadi’s detention he added: “He was going to hold a rally in support of animals’ rights on Friday, and this is detention in this regard.”

Ali Tabarzadi is son of Hashmatollah Tabarzadi, journalist and famous heretofore political activist who is currently being held in the Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
