Prisoners in Evin Prison Receive Food with Low Quality

HRANA News Agency – The prisoners’ ration in Evin Prison have a quite low quality and hygiene. In prisoner meals they always use soya instead of meat. This diet is while cooking is done improperly and food delivery is unsanitary. Most of the prisoners believe that the low quality and hygiene of food in prison, is deliberate to make prisoners buy from prison’s stores.

Keyvan Karimi Transferred to Ward 8 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Keyvan Karimi, famous filmmaker, who had been arrested previously to endure the sentence of whipping and imprisonment and had been transferred to Evin prison’s quarantine, was eventually moved to ward 8 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Keyvan Karimi, a prominent Iranian filmmaker, who had been summoned through a phone call to provide some explanations to branch one of Shahid Moghadas court, located in Evin prison in Tehran, was arrested there for the sentence of one-year imprisonment and 223 lashes and was moved to the quarantine of Evin prison, on Wednesday, November 23. 2 Activists Arrested in Khoy

HRANA News Agency – Two civilians from the city of Khoy were arrested by security forces at their houses and were taken to an unknown location.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), security agents went to the houses of Javad Ahmadi Yekanly and Rustam Naderali, two Turkish activists in the city of Khoy, and arrested them and transferred them to an unknown location, on Thursday, December 8. Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam Returned to the Prison

HRANA News Agency – Imprisoned dissident cleric, Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam, who previously had been transferred from prison to a hospital outside the Saheli prison of Qom was returned to the prison.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), despite the insistence of doctors in the hospital, on inability to endure the imprisonment by Ayatollah Nekounam which is approved by Forensics of Tehran, on the orders of the Special Court for the Clergy, this prisoner was returned to the prison. Participants in Mohammad Mokhtari and Mohammadjafar Poyandeh’s Anniversary Beaten and Arrested

HRANA News Agency – According to the reports the anniversary of Mohammad Mokhtari and Mohammadjafar Poyandeh, the victims of serial murders, has been along with violence by the security forces and at least two persons remain in detention.

Hossein Rajabian and Vahid Sayadi Nassiri Ended Their Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Rajabian and Vahid Sayadi Nassiri, two political prisoners in Evin prison ended their hunger strike after reaching their demands. Mr. Rajabian was sent on a 72-hour-long medical leave on Monday, December 5.
