Illegal Detention of Village Council Member Led to Protests

HRANA News Agency – Illegal detention of a member of the council of Farsi village in Hormozgan province led to the gathering and protests by people. In the wake of the protests and by the intervention of the security council authorities, the detainee was released and was welcomed by the people.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on June 25, “Khaled Ghanem” academic and member of Farsi village council was arrested by the Police at his house and by use of violence and tear gas, and was moved to an unknown location. Afshin Sohrabzadeh Sent to Medical Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Sohrabzadeh, exiled political prisoner who is diagnosed with cancer, was sent to a 20-day medical furlough on June 25.

Navid Khanjani Transfered to Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Navid Khanjani, a Bahai social activist, has been transferred from Raja’i Shahr prison to hospital for treatment. He has physical health problems, a weakened immune system and a sudden weight loss, of about 20 kilograms (44 lbs) in two months.
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on March 2 2010, after protests against the elections of 20091, under the human rights activists detention project operated by the Intelligence Office of the Islamic Guards, Navid Khanjani was detained at his family home in Isfahan and transferred to section 2-A of the Islamic Guards Detention Center for some time. In August 2012, in the course of helping with earthquake relief in the Iranian province of Azerbaijan, he was arrested, and on September 5, he was moved to Ward 4, Hall 12 of Raja’i Shahr prison to carry out his sentence. Sunnis of Asadiyeh Protested to Plumbing their Praying Hall

HRANA News Agency – After plumbing the prayer hall of Sunni citizens in Asadiyeh in Darmian city of South Khorasan province, they gathered to protest in front of the buildings of Justice and Governor on June 16.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on June 15, the prayer hall of Sunni citizens in Asadiyeh of South Khorasan was plumbed. Following this action, the citizens of this settlement prayed outside the mosque and gathered to protest in front of the buildings of Justice and Governor on June 16.

Ayoub Asadi on the 20th Day of Hunger Strike

Prison Guards Broke the Arm of a Prisoner of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – On June 14, Mahmoud Naji, security prisoner in ward 2 (Daralqran) of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj in the wake of refusing to go to the court due to considering the Court of Justice as “unfair”, was transferred to a military court while being  beaten and the guards broke his right arm.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), On June 14, Mahmoud Naji, security prisoner in ward 2 (Daralqran) of Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj who refused  to go to the court due to considering the Court of Justice as “unfair”, was severely beaten and sent to Branch 390 of the military court  by the prison authorities, including the responsible for shift, Mr. Zanganeh, the guard Mr. Khanjani, despite the presence of Mr. Mehdifar, chief of the ward two known as Daralqran and the cleric and head of  ward 2, Mr. Mohaghagh.
