One Prisoner Hanged in Central Prison of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner who was charged with murder, was hanged in central prison of Tabriz, on Wednesday May 27.

2 Executed Prisoners Buried in Kermanshah

HRANA News Agency – Two executed prisoners of Ghezelhesar Prison, in Karaj, were buried in Kermanshah and Kohdasht.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these two men, Ali Koshki, 24, and Ahmad Ebrahimi, 47, son of Hossein, who were charged with drugs related crimes, were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison on Monday 25th May. Mahmood Salehi’s Detention Order Extended

HRANA News Agency – At least, 8 prisoners with drug related charges were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 8 prisoners with the names of Nader Hajizadeh, Mohammad Barani, Jahangir Shah Zehi, Mehran Balouch Zehi, Mehrshad Solimani, Reza Daeizadeh, Ehsan Saghafi and Abbas Ameri were executed in Ghezelhesar prison of Karaj, on Monday May 25th. The Latest Outcome of the Inquiries about Seyed Jamal Hosseini’s Death

HRANA News Agency – Human Rights Activists in Iran is willing to inform the public opinion about the latest outcome of the inquiries on the case of the death of former director of HRANA and the co-founder of Human Rights Activists in Iran, Seyed Jamal Hosseini.

The body of Seyed Jamal Hosseini (Esfandiar Baharmas) had been found on August 5, 2014 at his home in Nevshehir in Turkey. Human Rights Activists in Iran had then in a statement stated that regarding the conditions there had to be investigations about his death which has been done by the Turkish authorities. Eleven Bahai Businesses Closed in Sari

HRANA News Agency – Local authorities in Sari have shut down eleven businesses run by Bahais because they had been closed on Bahai holy days.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these include four clothing stores, run by Wahab Darabi, Taraneh Zahedi, Sa`id Goli and Aramesh Zahuri; two electric motor winding shops, run by Farshad Kemali and Mehran Kemali; two toiletries and cleaning materials shops run by Ehsanullah Sana’i and Ehsan Izadi, a paint shop run by Ziullah Khushbin, the wood turning workshop of Kemal Akbari, and a household container shop run by Pedaram Qanbari. Three Bahai Businesses Shut Down in Sari

HRANA News Agency – Local authorities in Sari shut down three businesses run by three Bahais, on May 24, because they had been closed on Bahai holy days.

Riaz Sobhani Released at the End of His Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Riaz’ullah Sobhani, a Bahai who taught classes for the Bahai Institute for Higher Education (BIHE), was released from Raja’i Shahr Prison in Karaj yesterday at the end of a four-year sentence.
