Sunni prisoner beaten severely at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – The family of Seddigh Mohammadi, a Sunni prisoner suffering from psychological illnesses awaiting execution in Iran, say they found bruising and evidence of beating on his body during a recent visit to the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the family had finally been allowed to visit Seddigh Mohammadi in Ghezel Hesar prison last week, after a year of being prohibited from visiting the prison. Negar Haeri was beaten in the prison of Shahre Rey

HRANA News Agency – Negar Haeri, political prisoner in prison of Shahre Rey (Qarchak, Varamin), was beaten.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Negar Haeri who has been detained since July this year and was transferred to the prison of Shahre Rey (Qarchak, Varamin), on Monday 27th October  was beaten by the ordinary prisoners of this prison. 2 political prisoners transferred to an unknown location

HRANA News Agency – Ali Ebadi Jamkhaneh, political prisoner of Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad, and Mehdi Jalili were transferred to an unknown location.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Tuesday 28th October, Ali Ebadi Jamkhaneh, political prisoners of Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad along with Mehdi Jalili were transferred to an unknown location. Fifty businesses closed down following Bahai Holy Day observances

HRANA News Agency – Over fifty Bahai-run businesses in Iran were shut down on October 26, in Bandar Abbas, Kerman, Rajsanjan, and Jiroft (the city formerly known as Sabzevaran).

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these cities all lie in the South-east of Iran. October 25 and 26 this year corresponded to the first and second day of Muharram in the Islamic lunar calendar — days on which Bahais in the Islamic world celebrated the births of the Bab and Baha’u’llah. Mahdieh Golroo arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency- Mahdieh Golroo, student activist, was arrested by security forces and was taken to an unknown place on 26th October, in the morning.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in the morning of 26th October, Mahdieh Golroo was arrested by security forces at her home after inspecting and confiscating her personal belongings and was taken to an unknown location. Authorities in Bandar Abbas prison demanding money from prisoners

HRANA News Agency- Bandar Abbas Central prison officials demand money from inmates for repairs and decorating, and have threatened the prisoners that the prisoner who do not pay these amounts will be transferred to wards of the prisoner with HIV and Hepatitis.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Bandar Abbas Central prison officials demanded 100 thousand Tomans in two times  from each of the prisoners in this prison for insulation and installing curtains in the wards. Amin Chalaki released from Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – Amin Chalaki, who was among the arrestees of tenth presidential election’s protesters, released after serving two years and six months in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amin Chalaki, who was among the protestors that had been arrested after tenth presidential election, was released from ward 350 of Evin prison.
