HRANA News Agency – The funeral of Seyed Jamal Hosseini, one of the founders and the editor of HRANA was held in Nevshehir city in Turkey.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the funeral began at 9 o’clock at Gul bagcha Park in Nevshehir and continued at the main graveyard of the city. HRANA News Agency – Babak Mobasher and his father-in-law Alaeddin Khanjani were arrested around 6 a.m. yesterday when agents from the Ministry of Intelligence raided their home.

HRANA News Agency – Afif Na`imi, one of the seven Bahai ‘Yaran’ (national facilitators) who are now in the seventh year of 20-year sentences for their Baha’i beliefs, was transferred from hospital to Raja’i Shahr prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he is 52 years old, and was being treated in Tehran’s Coronary Hospital. Security officials had said last week that he must be returned to the prison on Saturday, August 9, although the forensic doctor had certified that he was unable to bear imprisonment. HRANA News Agency – Seyed Jamal Hosseini (Esfandiar Baharmas), one of the founders of Human Rights Activists in Iran, the coordinator and editor of HRANA, was found dead in his apartment by his colleagues and Turkish police on August 4th. There were traces of blood on his face, as well as several other places in his home.
Mr. Hosseini was threatened several times by Iranian security forces while he was living in Turkey as a political refugee. Since the Turkish authorities have begun their investigation, we will not come to a conclusion until the investigation is complete. The police authorities in Ankara have announced that the investigations may go on for months. The prosecutor of Nevshehir city, in a report on August 5th, 2014, stated that this death is a “suspicious death,” and ordered for a comprehensive investigation. We will keep in contact with Turkish authorities until the reason behind his death becomes clear.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the revolutionary court of Shiraz has sentenced Mr. Ibrahim Farabad Fallahiyah to six years in prison, according to submitted document to his attorney, dated on July 19, on charge of insulting supreme leader, founding an illegal group with the name of Gorooh-e-Sabz-e-Shiraz (Green Groupof Shiraz) for disturbing national security, propaganda and insulting supreme leader and based on Islamic Penal Code, articles: 498,499,500 and 514 and with consideration of note 2 of article 134 of Islamic penal code amended in 2013.
