A political prisoner returned to prison before the surgery

HRANA News Agency – Asghar Ghattan who was transferred to the hospital last week has been suddenly returned to Evin prison.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Asghar Ghattan, the 60 years old prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison who was transferred to a hospital outside of the prison for a surgery, was sent back to Evin the night before the operation.
 
Asghar Ghattan is suffering from different diseases like cancer, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart and renal failure, and has many times been in critical health condition in prison.
 
Asghar Ghattan had spent 6 years in prison during 80s and was released in 1992. He was charged with cooperation with opposition groups once more and has been sentenced to 5 years in prison, which he is serving it since 2001.

Mohammad Amin Agoushi in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Despite the disease of Mohammad Amin Agoushi, the prisoner of Central prison of Zahedan, he is deprived of proper medical treatments.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Agoushi, the 54 years old retired teacher and citizen of Piranshahr who is serving his 10 years in prison in exile sentence has been deprived of proper medical treatments.
 
An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “Agoushi is diagnosed with mumps disease but when he went to the clinic he did not receive any treatment. As a result, this political prisoner started self-treatment by using traditional treatments and with the help of his inmates.”
 
He has requested for medical furlough from authorities but the persecutors of Uremia and Zahedan had rejected them.
 
This prisoner of central prison of Zahedan, aligned with Iraj Mohammadi and Ahmad Pooladkhani were arrested on 2007, have charged with espionage for Kurdistan regime and fight against God’s wills, by cooperating with conflicting groups.
 
He had been transferred to central prison of Uremia after serving 7 months in solitary confinement and after a trial in branch number two of military court, sentenced to death by fire scout.
 
The sentence was confirmed by Supreme Court but the case went into the process again in branch number one of military court and he and the two other prisoners were sentenced to 10 years in prison in exile.

Retired IRGC Commander arrested And Moved To Vakil Abad Prison

HRANA News Agency – Political activist, retired IRGC Commander , former city of Mashshad deputy mayor and television program director, Hossein Farzin, was summoned by the Revolutionary Court, arrested and then moved to Mashad’s Vakil Abad prison for the implementation of his 15 month imprisonment and the 20 lashes sentence.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossein Farzin was arrested by IRGC’s Intelligence Unit, on October 12, 2010 in a raid of his home. Maryam Shafipour Has Been Sentenced To 7 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Expelled Qazvin International University student activist, Maryam Shafipour has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran has sentenced Marymam Shafipour to seven years imprisonment on charges of “assembly and collusion with intent to act against the national security”, and “spreading propaganda against the regime”.

 

This banned from education student has been incarcerated at Evin prison since August 27, 2013. She was kept in solitary confinement for more than two months before she was moved to Ward 350. She was deprived of seeing her lawyer during her incarceration in solitary confinement.

 

Maryam Shafipour was convicted and sentenced to a total of 7 years imprisonment on the following charges:

 

1- Five years imprisonment on the charge of assembly and collusion with intent to act against the national security

 

2- One year imprisonment on the charge of membership in the Right to Education Council.

 

3- One year imprisonment on the charge of spreading propaganda against the regime.

 

Maryam Shafipour is the first student activist arrested after the election of Hassan Rouhani as president of Iran.

 

Maryam Shafipour was a Mehdi Karoubi campaign activist in the 2009 presidential election.

 

Previously it was reported by her family that she was beaten by her male interrogators during interrogation sessions for refusing to cooperate with them in giving a false confession.

2 Men Were Hanged On Charges Of “Unlawful Acts Against Sharia Law”

HRANA News Agency – Two prisoners were hanged in Rasht (N.Iran) on charges of “Unlawful Acts Against Sharia Law”.

 

According to the IRIB, Director of Public Relations of the Judiciary of Gilan province announced two men, ages 28 and 30, were hanged in Rasht’s central prison today, on charges of unlawful acts against Sharia Law, which in legal terms covers a variety of charges. Akbar Amini is not allowed to get medical treatment in a hospital

HRANA News Agency – The authorities of ward 350 of Evin prison prevented Akbar Amini from being transferred to a hospital outside of prison.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Akbar Amini, the political prisoner of ward 350, was supposed to be sent to the hospital for his jaw and dental problems on Wednesday February 26, however the authorities did not permit him.
 
An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “Momeni, the vice executive of prison, has prevented him from being transferred, because of recent tension inside the ward 350.”
 
This prevention is happening while persecutor had issued the transfer order.
 
Akbar Amini who has been arrested on June 7, at his house, was transferred to ward 350 after spending more than 100 days in solitary confinements of ward 209.
 
Akbar Amini climed up from a crane carrying protest symbols on February 14, 2011 in Ghasr junction-Tehran. After hours in detainee, he was sentenced to one year in prison which he fully served. He has been summoned and arrested by the intelligence forces several times.
 
Very recently, the appeal court confirmed the five-years imprisonment sentence of the revolutionary court and as the result, a one year suspended imprisonmentsentence will be carried out as well.

Mehdi Khodai is in poor health condition

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Khodai is deprived of proper treatment while suffering from a kind of infection.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehdi Khodai, the political prisoner of Ward 350 of Evin prison, was transferred to prison clinic on trolley due to sever ague caused by an infectious disease and was sent back to the ward just after an injection on Tuesday February 25.
