HRANA News Agency – Aydin Zakeri had to appear in the court as the intelligence ministry had sued him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the first session of Aydin Zakeri’s trial was held in branch number one of judicial court of Meshkin Shahr on Sunday May 10.
This civil rights activist told HRANA regarding the charges, “intelligent service of Meshkin Shahr sued me and the allegation of propaganda against the regime is put on me, but I do not accept this allegation and demand the public trial, according to section 168 of the constitution”.
Mr. Zakeri also said about the allegations, “my activities were completely public and according to the law, like helping for organizing the international mother tongue day and distributing leaflets none of which is illegal”.
According to this civil right activist, next session of the court and court decision is not defined yet.
Need to be mentioned, Aydin Zakeri was imprisoned in March 2015 and spent some time in Meshkin Shahr prison.
