A Bail of 100 Billion Issued for Siamak Mirzai

HRANA News Agency – According to the judge of the case of Siamak Mirzai, security prisoner in Evin prison; the Ministry of Intelligence has requested a bail of 100 billion IRR to release him until the court hearing.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the Ministry of Intelligence has requested a bail of 100 billion IRR to release Siamak Mirzai until the court hearing.
A close source to the family of Mirzaee said that judge Rajabi had told this to Siamak Mirzai’s wife on Tuesday, September 13, and also he added: “According to the judge, this heavy bail will be issued on September 24 because the judge is on holidays.”
Siamak Mirzai had been arrested by the security forces at his workplace and was transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison on July 14. After 40 days of being held in solitary confinement, he informed his wife through a phone call about his transfer to room 123 in general ward of 209 in Evin prison, on August 24.
It should be noted that his chargers are not officially announced, but the prosecutor, announced the connection with foreigners as one of the reasons for his detention.
He had previously also been arrested by security forces and was tried by the relevant judicial authorities in the years 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011.
