HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ibrahimzadeh passed out on 20th day of hunger strike and was sent to prison clinic.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, who is on hunger strike since December 3, passed out and was transferred to clinic on Monday December 22.

After he returned from clinic, he felt numbness on his back and legs.

Behnam Ibrahimzadeh is on hunger strike in protest at being transferred to ward number 1 from the ward that is dedicated to political prisoners.

Behanm Ibrahimzadeh, the labour activist who has been sentenced to 5 years in prison on charge of collusion against the national security, is serving his fourth year in prison.

He was arrested by security forces on June 12, 2010, and first sentenced to 20 years in prison by revolutionary court, however this sentence was reduced in appeal court to 5 years.
