Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Transferred to Quarantine of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, worker and political activist has been transferred from ward 209 of Evin Prison to the Quarantine section of Karaj Rajaee Shahr Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Behnam Ebrahimzadeh has been imprisoned for the last 5 years and after further prosecution in January was sentenced to another 9.5 years imprisonment. Saeid Shirzad Refused to Attend the Court Session

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad refused to attend court session in protest to refrainment of his lawyer from reviewing the documents.

Extensive Raids in Tehran and Isfahan: 17 Bahais Arrested

HRANA News Agency – On February 16 and 17, security officers raided and searched the homes of Bahais in Tehran and Isfahan, and arrested 17 Bahais.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in Tehran, the homes of Sasan Yadegar, Ehsan Yadegar, Arghavan Eshraqi and Mehrdad Furqani were raided, and all the books, desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones were seized. A Report about Mohmmad Seddigh Kaboodvand’s Latest Status

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand, journalist and human rights activist, despite enduring seven and a half years imprisonment, has to spend 3 more years in prison. Mr. Kaboodvand is being held in prison, just because of his human rights activities.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand, founder of Kurdistan’s Human Rights Organization, was arrested on 1st July 2007 and after the trial, he was sentenced to 10 and a half years imprisonment. He has passed 7and a half years of his sentence. Mohammad Seddigh Kaboodvand has been affected by kidney infection, severe decrease in blood glucose levels and extreme physical weakness in prison, but according to what his relatives say, he is now in better physical condition. No Publication License for Baluch Cultural Activists

HRANA News Agency – Press Supervisory Board rejected all requests of Baluch – Persian bilingual publication.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), “Avaye Makran”, “Amit” and “Verna” papers, after waiting a few months to turn over all administrative procedures and licensing, during the last session faced rejection by the Press Supervisory Board and have not been successful to receive the permission for publication. 6 Prisoners Executed in Kerman and Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – 4 prisoners in Adelabad prison and 2 prisoners in Kerman prison (Shahab) were executed by hanging on 15th February.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Saturday 14th February, 2 men and one woman with drug related crimes were transferred to solitary confinements in Shahab prison in kerman, in order to be hanged. 3 Political Prisoners Tried in Tehran Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad, were tried for charge of propaganda against the regime which was alleged to them after the events on 17th April (Guards’ riot to ward 350) at branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court.

Arjang Davoodi and Afshin Baimani still Held in Solitary Confinements

HRANA News Agency – Even after a month of transition of Arjang Davoodi and Afshin Baimani to solitary confinement, relatives of these two prisoners have expressed their concern about their situations.

14 Prisoners Executed in a Single Day in Iran

HRANA News Agency – On Monday 16th February, 14 prisoners were executed in Central Prison of Urmia, Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad, Bam prison, and Central Prison of Bandar Abbas.

6 Political Prisoners Started Hunger Strike at Evin Prison in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – Following a complain regarding compulsory use of prison’s yard “to get some fresh air” in winter weather and lack of warm clothing for prisoners in ward 8 of Evin prison, Amir Amirgholi, Aso Rostami and Amir Hushang Navaei were taken to solitary confinements, and they went on hunger strike. Also, 3 other prisoners went on hunger strike until those inmates would be returned to the ward from solitary confinements.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday 16th February, despite the winter cold weather and lack of warm clothing, prisoners of ward 8 in Evin prison were forced by prison officials to stay in the prison yard.
