Concerns Grow of Mass Executions in Ghezel Hesar Prison

HRANA New Agency – Following the execution of 15 prisoners in unit 2 of Ghezel Hesar prison, a wave of worry has surrounded the prison inmates and their families.

15 Prisoners Hanged in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – 15 prisoners with drug related crimes were executed in Ghezel Hesar prison, in Karaj, by hanging.

The Families of Sunni Prisoners Prohibited from Burring Them

HRANA News Agency – After the execution of six Sunni prisoners, their bodies were not given to their families some of whom had traveled from far distances to Rajai Shahr, in Karaj, even after hours of waiting and confusion, and, despite their legitimate requests, just one representative of each family was allowed to see their loved ones’ bodies to identify them and the other members of families and relatives were prevented from attending Bibi Sakineh Cemetery for their children’s funeral ceremony.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after the execution of Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molaei, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sadiq Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini, Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, their families who had gathered in front of the prison the night before, demanded their loved ones’ bodies who had been executed, to take their bodies to their home city for interment, however, they were confounded from 4am to 4pm as the authorities did not give a clear respond, and  eventually, authorities told them that they could not take their bodies to their cities and they would be buried in cemetery of Bibi Sakineh, due to the security system’s decision. Several Bahais Detained, One Arrested, in Varamin

HRANA News Agency – On the evening of March 9, Laleh Mahdinezhad and a number of Bahais who were present in her home were arrested by agents from the security forces.

Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad, who were charged with propaganda against the regime, have been sentenced to accumulation of 18 months in prison following the events that are known as black Thursday.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in a court session held on branch number 26 of revolutionary court for three beaten prisoners in “black Thursday” on Saturday March 7, Reza Shahabi was sentenced to one year and Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zaresi Alinejad sentenced to 91 days in prison. Masoumeh Zia Summoned by the Security Police

HRANA News Agency – Masoumeh Zia, an Erfane Halgheh follower and activist has been summoned by the Security Police.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on the morning of Tuesday 10 March 2015, Masoumeh Zia has been summoned to the 2nd base of the Security Police via a phone call. 10 Prisoners Hanged in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – Ten prisoners in Adel Abad prison were executed because of alleged retribution and drug-related crimes.

Majid Moghadam Is still Under Detention in Ward 2-A in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Majid Moghadam, who was arrested three months ago and transferred to ward 2-A of Revolutionary Guards, is still held in suspense in this ward.

HRANA News Agency – The clergy of ward number 10 of Rajaei Shahr prison, who had asked for seizure of Christians’ religious books, following the refusal of prisoners has sued priest Fathi.

Dutch MPs Call for Freedom of Human Rights Activists in Iran

HRANA News Agency – “Harry Van Bommel” and “Kees Van der Staaij” foreign affairs spokesmen of socialist and Christian Reformist parties of Dutch Parliament in occasion of the fifth anniversary of the arrests in 2nd March, demanded the release of imprisoned human rights defenders, including Seyed Mehdi Khodaei, Nasoor  Naghipoor, Mohammad Hossein Yousefpoor Seifi, Navid Khanjani and Eighan Shahidi.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kees Van der Staaij,  member of Netherlands Parliament and spokesperson for Foreign Affairs of Christian Reformist Party of Netherlands, as well as other MP, Harry van Bommel, who holds the leadership responsibility of the Socialist Party and he is also the spokesman on Foreign Relations in this country, in 2nd March by signing separate letters in the occasion of the fifth anniversary of clash with members of Human Rights Activists in Iran, called for the freedom of detainees of this event.
