HRANA News Agency – Arash Moghadam Aslanpoor and Farshid Fathi, who have been sentenced each to one year in prison, following the events of April 17, 2014 in Evin prison (Black Thursday), are waiting for appeal court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arash Moghadam Aslanpoor and Farshid Fathi have been sentenced each to one year in prison in branch 15 of the revolutionary court by chief judge Salavati, on Monday December 29, 2014. Mohammad Ayoub Kazemi Summoned to Special Clerical Court

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Ayoub Kazemi, university and Houzeh (Islamic School) researcher, has been summoned to special clerical court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Ayoub Kazemi, university and Houzeh (Islamic School) researcher publicized this issue on his social media and said that he has been summoned to special clerical court to answer some questions, on February 1st.

Need to be mentioned, Mohammad Ayoub Kazemi was sentenced for 30 months at the end of 2009 and was released after near half of his sentence.

Mr. Kazemi who is among the former students of Ayatollah Montazeri and has PhD in education is a university and Houzeh researcher, arrested and sent to jail after telling a poem criticizing political issues.

3 Political Prisoners Transferred to Ward 7 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Roham Barakizadeh, Ali Noori and Mohammah Saeid Hosseinzadeh Movahedi, were transferred to ward 7 of Evin prison.

A Prisoner Hanged in the Prison of Bam

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner was executed at dawn on Thursday in Bam prison, after spending 12 years in prison. He was charged with drug smuggling.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), “Reza Begham” who had been sentenced to death, by the Revolutionary Court in Kerman, on the charge of drug smuggling after 12 years in prison at dawn on Thursday (29th January) was executed in Bam prison by hanging. Ahwaz Residents Protested against the Air Pollution

HRANA News Agency – On Friday, a group of Ahwaz citizens participated in a spontaneous protest against the pollution in this city and demanded the city’s leaders to deal with air pollution and dusts. The rally was held while Ahwaz schools had been closed due to bad weather conditions.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), when it was announced that the pollution level in Ahwaz city is 66 times more than standard level, a group of citizens participated in a spontaneous rally in the coastal road and stated their protest against the authorities’ indifference and urged the government to deal with the phenomenon and the main cause of the contamination and fix it to maintain the health of the Ahwaz citizens. HRANA News Agency – Peyman Mirzaei , one of Erfane Halgheh followers who has been arrested since Tuesday gathering close to the Human Rights Council building is still kept at an unknown location .

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Peyman Mirzaee one of the followers of  Erfane Halgheh has been arrested on Tuesday 27 January in front of  the Human Rights Council building.
