HRANA News Agency – A group of followers of the “Erfan Halgheh”, who had staged a sit-in at Sanctuary of “Hazrat Masomeh”, in Qom, from 9 days ago in protest against the death sentence of Mohammad Ali Taheri, were arrested on Monday 24th August and 12 of them have so far been identified.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on 23rd May, a group of sit-in people that left shrine towards house of “Makarem Shirazi”, one of the Shiite Emulation References, were arrested by the security forces, and at the same time collective followers of “Erfan Halgheh”, also on track to join the sit-in protest were arrested. Aliasghar Mahmoudian Has to Serve More Due To Medical Furlough
HRANA News Agency –Aliasghar Mahmoudian has to serve between 4 to 6 months more in prison as compensation for his medical furlough and the time that he was outside of the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Aliasghar Mahmoudian, 63, political prisoner who is suffering from prostate, hear artery disease, hemorrhoids and respiratory disease, has to serve between 4 to 6 months more in Semnan prison, than his 6 years sentence as compensation for extension of his medical furlough and not being back to prison. HRANA News Agency- Korosh (Muhammad) Nasiri was released from prison, Asadullah Hadi and Amanullah Mostaghim were returned to Rajai Shahr prison.

Omid Alishenas Is Still Deprived of Close Visits in the Prison / Video
HRANA News Agency – The short silent video shows Omid Alishenas, who has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment because of his peaceful civil activities, behind the glass at the visiting room in Evin prison. He has been denied to have a close visit with his family during the last four months and his contact with his family was limited to only cabinet visit.

2 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Ebraham Firuzi, a Christian convert and Arash Moghadam Aslanpour, cultural activists, have gone on hunger strike since last Thursday in protest against the failure to respect the principle of separation of prisoners on the basis of their crimes.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ebrahim Firuzi and Arash Aslanpour (Arash Eshai), who are held in ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison, along with apolitical and sometimes dangerous prisoners, after writing a letter addressed to the head of the prison and after it was neglected by him, from Thursday 20th August went on hunger strike. They have asked the prison authorities, accordant with the law to transfer them to Hall 12, political and conscience prisoners’ ward in Rajai Shahr prison.
