HRANA New Agency – Following the execution of 15 prisoners in unit 2 of Ghezel Hesar prison, a wave of worry has surrounded the prison inmates and their families.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), dawn on Wednesday 4th March, 15 prisoners with drug related crimes were executed in Ghezal Hesar prison, in Karaj.
Mohammad Khandan, Saeid Hajilo, Mohsen Alipoor, Masood Rasooli, Asghar Mir Adli and Mohammad Mahmoodi, were 6 prisoners from Hall 4 of Unit 2 who were executed.
Following the mass execution and development of the rumores about execution of another 16 prisoners during the next couple of days, a wave of concern has come over the prisoners with death sentence in Ghezel Hesar prison and their families.
Many of the relatives of the prisoners, while expressing concern over repeated calls to HRANA, have asked for help from international organizations.
