Davar Hosseini Vojdan Deprived of Going to Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Davar Hosseini Vojdan has been deprived of going on leave, after the events in April in ward 350 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Davar Hosseini Vojdan, student activist who was studying Metallurgy in Esfahan University of Technology has been imprisoned in ward 350 of Evin prison from 5th December 2011 to serve his sentence and has been denied to go on leave, since April 2014 events in ward 350.
One of his close relatives told HRANA’s reporter: “The last time he came on leave was last year and after the events of ward 350 in April his requests for leave have been rejected. The Officials even refused to give him permission for New Year leave.”
Davar Hosseini Vojdan was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment on the charge of gathering, collusion and propaganda against the regime, in September 2012, by branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran, presided by Judge Salavati, which was reduced to 4 years imprisonment in April 2013.
It is to say that, during the raid by Ministry of Intelligence agents, Revolutionary Guards and more than 100 prison guard soldiers to ward 350 of Evin Prison on 17th April, more than 30 political prisoners were beaten and some of them were taken to solitary confinement.
