Executions of 5 Prisoners in Bam Prison Postponed for a Week

HRANA News Agency – Execution of 5 prisoners, who were charged with drug related crimes and were sentenced to death, has been postponed for one week in Bam prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Saturday 3rd January, 5 prisoners in Bam prison, who were charged with drug related crime and were sentenced to death, were transferred to solitary confinement so that on Sunday their sentences would be carried out.

But the 5 prisoners’ sentences have been postponed for a week due to the defect in their files and lack of some essentials for implementing the execution.

These 5 prisoners are now in the wards where they were before.
