HRANA News Agency – Hamid Azizi, a Bahai from Hamadan, has been taken to prison to begin a one-year sentence. A few days ago he and his wife were summoned and threatened with arrest.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mr. Azizi was arrested by agents from the Ministry of Intelligence who came to his home on October 21, 2014.
They searched his home for several hours and seized a computer, a laptop computer, and Bahai books and pamphlets.
He was charged with propaganda against the regime in the form of supporting opposition groups.
