Judicial Authorities Reject Parole Requests of 70 Political Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – Judicial authorities rejected the request of seventy political and security prisoners, imprisoned in Evin prison to be released earlier.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a large number of prisoners in Evin prison, including 13 prisoners of ward 350, were imparted that their conditional release requests have been rejected.
In a letter, that the name of prisoners were attached to it, written by the judicial head deputy in prison affairs  in Tehran Province, Ahmad Mozaffari addressed to the Deputy Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor in Tehran, the Head of Shahid Moghadas court in Evin priso Mr. Toork, asked to give their decision about conditional release for about seventy men and women political prisoners of Evin prison, and Mr. Toork answered: “The issue was considered, but at the moment it is not possible to release any of these prisoners whose charges are related to national security.”
This letter was imparted to the judicial deputy of Tehran province Justice, on 2nd September, but just recently, its result was told the prisoners.
This list is including: Alireza Rajaei, Mamoud Bagheri, Mohammad Sadegh Rabbani, Nasoor Naghipoor, Masood Sadeghi, Jafar Ganji, Hasan Seesakhti, Reza Hampay, Ali Zakeri, Mohammad Hassan Yousefpoor Seifi, Mehdi Khodaei, Majid Asadi, Abbas Ghafari and some women prisoners like, Hakimeh Shokri, Bahareh Hedayat and Motahare Bahrami.
