Molana Gargij Saved a Young Man from Execution

HRANA New Agency – Molana Gargij, Sunni Imam of Friday prayers in Azad Shahr, once again saved a young man’s life, who was sentenced to death, by the intercession.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Molana Mohammad Hossein Gargij’s recent trip to Sistan and Baluchistan province led him to intervene again and save the life of a young man, who had been sentenced to death, 7 years after the murder.

In a family conflict that occurred 7 years ago, in the town of Kohak, of Zabol city, between two young men, from Gargij tribe and Narooei tribe (Murdere), a young man ultimately sentenced to retribution for murderer. After 7 years and approaching the stage of execution, with endeavour and mediation by Sunni imam of Friday Prayers in Azad Shahr and elders and victim’s family’s consent, the young man, who had been sentenced to death, was saved from the gallows.

It is to say, the victim’s parents have stated that the reason of their forgiveness was God’s satisfaction and Azad Shahr’s Friday Prayers imam’s direct intervention.

The principal of Daruloloom Farooqieh Galikesh, expressed appreciation for this pious and emphasized on the importance of forgiveness in Islamic culture, adding that the worst news based on human morality  and Islam morality, is murder of an innocent man, and the best news, is saving a man’s life,  God says peace and forgiveness are blessing.

Indeed, this Sunni Imam of Friday Prayers in Azad Shahr, so far, has managed to save more than 33 people who had been sentenced to death all around the country including Shia and Sunni from all Ethnics in Iran , during his 35 years of service in Golestan province, by his intercession to get the victims’ families’ consents.
