Moslem Yaghobi Released from Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Moslem Yaghobi, prisoner of conscience, was released from ward 1 of Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, and Mehdi Azimi and Yasser Hamidi Shahrabi were sent on leave.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), accepting Moslem Yaghobi’s parole application by the judicial authorities in recent days led to the freedom of this prisoner of conscience and at the same time Yaser Hamidi Shahrabi and Mehdi Azimi also were sent on leave.
Moslem Yaghobi was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment, on charges of blasphemy and during a commutation, the sentence was reduced to a year and a half.
Each of Mehdi Hamidi and Yasser Hamidi Shahrabi, two prisoners of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment on charge of blasphemy and after the commutation of the sentence, it was reduced to two and a half years.
There are some unconfirmed reports about the freedom Mehdi Alizadeh, another prisoner in Mashhad prison. All of these prisoners have been arrested on the basis of activities in cyberspace and social networks and on charges of blasphemy.
