Mostafa Azizi’s Case Sent to Branch 54 of the Appeal Court

HRANA News Agency – The appeal court branch for Mostafa Azizi’s case has been announced.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mostafa Azizi’s case has been sent to branch number 54 of the revolutionary appeal court, with chief judge Poor Arab.
Mr. Azizi has been sentenced to 8 years in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime, insulting the supreme leader and collusion against the national security, in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court, with chief judge Salavati, on June 2.
Mostafa Azizi, 53, is the writer of, “I am Raymond Caro”, and a television producer who had migrated to Canada since 2010. He was arrested few days after he went back to Iran on February 1, 2015.
Mr. Azizi spent his first month of arrest in ward 2-A of Evin and under revolutionary guard’s interrogation, and currently is waiting for the final court sentence in ward number 8.
Need to be mentioned, there is no information regarding the time that is scheduled for the appeal court of Mostafa Azizi.
