Motaleb Ahmadian Transferred to Prison of Saghez

HRANA News Agency – Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner in Sanandaj prison was transferred to Saghez prison on May 3, and simultaneously was interrogated about a new case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner in Sanandaj prison was transferred to Saghez prison on May 3, and a new case was formed for him.
A close source to the political prisoner by announcing the news told in an interview with HRANA’s reporters: “So far Mr. Ahmadian was interrogated by the security forces of the Intelligence Ministry twice and the case was sent to judge Jahani of branch 1 of Justice Investigation of Saghez. But the trial has not been set yet.”
The source informed about the accusation in the new case: “It is said that a gun was found in Saghez prison and an inmate confessed about Mr. Ahmadian. This is despite the fact that he was kept in Sanandaj prison for a year and could not be involved in such a crime.”
The source noted about the latest situation in other cases: “his previous case with the charge of “complicity in murder” still has not been set in Sanandaj. On May 16, the case’s branch and the date of the trial was going to be determined. Mr. Ahmadian is still pending in that case. And his first case for which he was sentenced to 6 years in prison and exile to Minab, was sent to the court.”
Motaleb Ahmadian, 31, from Bane, was arrested on October 5, 2010 and after enduring about 230 days of solitary confinement, was charged with “Muharebe (waging war against god) through membership in Kurdish parties” and sentenced to 31 years of imprisonment and exile to Minab Prison; in a separate case he also faces the charge of complicity in murder which he has denied, and despite the lapse of 5 years he has not received any verdict concerning this case yet.
