HRANA News Agency – Nader Fatorehchi, journalist, translator and author, was summoned to the court because of Bahareh Rahnama and Peyman Ghasemkhani’s complaint and has been released on bail.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Wednesday 31st December, Nader Fatorehchi had a hearing in the Culture and Media branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran and after giving his last defense, he was released on bail until the trial.
He was summoned to the court due to posting something on his Facebook and following a complaint by Bahareh Rahnama and Peyman Ghasemkhani.
He has been charged with insulting and disturbing the public opinion.
Nader Fotorehchi had been previously summoned to FATA police as well.
The journalist, translator and author had written a critical article about Bahareh Rahnama, TV actress, in his personal Facebook account in mid-November.
