Naghmeh Farabi Begins 2-Year Sentence in Yazd

HRANA News Agency – In recent days, security agents went to the home of Mrs. Naghmeh Farabi-Ashaqiyan in Najafabad, and took her to Yazd to serve a 2-year sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on the day of her arrest, security agents went to her home when she was not there, and entered by climbing over a wall. They returned during the afternoon and arrested her.

She was arrested on July 31, 2012, and sentenced to 2 years in prison and 1 year suspended on charges of membership of the Bahai community.
