Nima Hasani Transferred To The Youth Section In Uremia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Nima Hasani, civil activist in Urmia, was transferred to the youth ward in Urmia prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Nima Hasani, civil activist from Urmia, who was arrested after visiting the Urmia Revolutionary Court for serving his imprisonment sentence and was sent to the city prison, has been sent to the youth ward located in this prison.
It is to say that this civil activist is protesting against his transfer to the youth ward and has demanded to be transferred to the political prisoners’ ward in this prison.
Nima Hasani was arrested along with 21 other people on 9th June 2014 and on the eve of the gathering on 20th June, associated with the Urmia Lake. After being tried in Urmia Revolutionary Court, he was sentence to six months in prison by Branch 1 presided by Judge Chabok, on charges of conspiracy against the internal security and propaganda against the regime.
The sentence for Nima Hasani – born in 1993 – was reduced to 1 month imprisonment, including the period of detention, by the Branch 10 of the appeals court in West Azerbaijan province.
It should be noted that, Nima Hasani had been arrested in connection with his civil activities already.
