A political prisoners is sentenced to 18 years in prison

HRANA News Agency – Abulghasem (Javad) Fooladvand, the political prisoner of ward 350 of Evin prison, is sentenced to 74 lashes and 18 years in prison by the revolutionary court.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Aboulghasem (Javad) Fooladvand has been taken from the ward 350 of Evin prison to branch 15 of the revolutionary court on Saturday February 8 where he was informed of being sentenced to 18 years in prison.
 
Fooladvand who is 51 years old is sentenced to 15 years in prison on charge of rioting by being a member of MEK, one year for insulting supreme leader, and one more year and 74 lashes for participating in 2009 protests.
 
The riot punish is established to be replaced by enmity against the God for political prisoners by Islamic criminal law bureau few months ago.
 
18 years in prison sentence, is announced for this taxi driver and political prisoner, while he had passed one year and six months for the same charges in Jamshidiyeh and Ghezelhesar prisons in 80s.
 
Aboulghasem Fooladvand was arrested aligned with his 17 years old son by intelligence service forces in June 2013.
