HRANA News Agency – A prisoner was executed at dawn on Thursday in Bam prison, after spending 12 years in prison. He was charged with drug smuggling.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), “Reza Begham” who had been sentenced to death, by the Revolutionary Court in Kerman, on the charge of drug smuggling after 12 years in prison at dawn on Thursday (29th January) was executed in Bam prison by hanging.
The report of this execution has not been published by Iranian official media yet.
