Saeid Shirzad’s trial has been postponed

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad, political prisoner in ward 8 of Evin prison, rejected to attend his trail as he was forced to wear the uniform and also his attorney was not accepted by the court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the trail for Saeid Shirzad, a political prisoner in Evin prison, was supposed to be held in branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran on Tuesday, by Judge Salvati.

Saeid Shirzad refused to wear the uniform which was compulsory to wear for attending the Court room and did not accepted this condition for presence in the court room.

Although Saeid Shirzad’s attorney several times went to Court Office to introduce himself, but they have not accepted him yet, so that he refused to attend the court room.

Saeid Shirzad, political prisoners in ward 8 of Evin prison, was arrested on 2nd June at his place of work in Tabriz refinery.

It is noteworthy that, Saeid Shirzad, was arrested first time on 21 August 2012, when he had gone to Ahar city in East Azerbaijan to help and assist the people who were affected by the earthquake and after spending 19 days in jail he was released on bail.
