HRANA – Today, seven residents of Saqqez were arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in the city and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to HRANA, citing Kolbar News, today, Thursday, October 8, 2026, seven citizens were arrested in Saqqez.
The individuals have been identified as Abdullah Amini, Rahim Haghparast, Seyed Mohammad Saleh Hosseini, Mohammad Hakimpour, Mostafa Ghaderi, Khaled Rahimi, and Hossein Abdollahi, all residents of Saqqez.
According to the report, Ministry of Intelligence agents simultaneously arrested the seven individuals at their homes in Saqqez and subsequently transferred them to an undisclosed location.
The arrests reportedly involved the use of violence, with agents physically assaulting and beating the individuals.
At the time of this report, no information has been obtained regarding the reasons for their arrests or the charges brought against them.
