Abbas Lesani Ended his Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani, Turkish (Azari) civil activist ended his hunger strike after being returned to the ward and getting the right of having phone calls. The civil rights activist, resident of Ardebil was sentenced to one year in prison on charge of “propaganda against the regime” and was exiled to Shiraz prison.

Abbas Lesani on Hunger Strike in Shiraz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani, civil rights activist from Ardabil, has announced hunger strike since February 24, in Shiraz prison. His family has also been summoned to the court multiple times.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Abbas Lesani, imprisoned Turk civil rights activist of Shiraz prison, has started the hunger strike since February 24, in protest to his transfer to Ebrat ward and not having contact with outside of prison. Roghaye Alizade’s Hearing Held in the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lisani’s family, his wife and two sons were present at the general revolutionary court of Ardabil following repeated summons. The Turksish activist (Azeri) of Ardabil is currently being held in prison in Shiraz.

5 Civil Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment And Lashes In Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of three months imprisonment and thirty lashes of 5 civil activists in Ardabil were confirmed by the appeal court. Tohid Amiramini, Saleh Pichganlo, Maisam Julani, Mostafa Parvinjoda and Morteza Parvinjoda were arrested during a football match and after picking up a placard demanding the freedom of a political prisoner.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these activists picked up a placard on which they had written: “Abbas Lesani, Azerbaijani activist must be released” during a football match between “Shahrdari Ardebil” and “Aluminum Hormozgan”. A Political Prisoner’s Wife Summoned To The Court In Ardabil

HRANA News Agency – Roqiyeh Alizadeh, the wife of Abbas Lesani, imprisoned political and civil activist, was summoned in writing “to give some explanations” to the second branch of the Prosecutor General and Revolutionary Courts in Ardabil city.

Abbas Lesani’s Wife Summoned To The Court

HRANA News Agency – Roqayeh Alizadeh, the wife of Turkish (Azari) political prisoner in Shiraz prison, was summoned to the revolutionary court in Ardebil by calling. Ms. Alizadeh said that the court had probably summoned her because of the complaint of the intelligence, but she was not summoned in writing and formal, so she would not go to the court.

Abbas Lesani In Solitary Confinement In Shiraz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani, imprisoned civil activist in Shiraz prison is prohibited from having prison visits since his exile to this prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Abbas Lesani, imprisoned civil activist who was transferred from Ardabil prison to Shiraz prison without any notice on Thursday, 12th  November is incommunicado. Abbas Lesani Ended His Hunger Strike After 12 Days

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani, civil activist from Ardabil, ended his hunger strike after 12 days and was transferred to the general ward.
This civil activist’s wife, in an interview with HRANA, confirmed the news and said that, after she had a meeting with him and the head of Ardabil prison promised not to exile him, Mr. Lesani was convinced to end his hunger strike. Abbas Lesani On The 10th Day Of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani is on his 10th day of hunger strike, while his family is not allowed to visit him and has no information about his health condition.
