Judicial Cases Filed Against Five Members of Adinezadeh Family

HRANA News Agency – Judicial cases have been opened against Ali Adinezadeh, the father of Abolfazl Adinezadeh—a teenager killed during the 2022 nationwide protests—and four other members of his family.

In a public statement, Marziyeh Adinezadeh, daughter of Ali Adinezadeh, revealed that cases have been filed against herself, her parents—Ali Adinezadeh and Goldasteh Hosseini-Jahanabad—and two of her uncles. The charges include disturbing public order, spreading false information, causing public anxiety, intentional assault, and resisting law enforcement.

Marziyeh also shared an image of a court summons issued to her father, requesting his presence at Branch 118 of Mashhad Criminal Court II to respond to the allegations today.

Ali Adinezadeh had previously been summoned by the same judicial authority for a hearing related to the case in March 2025. He was released from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad in September 2024 on bail. His arrest had taken place in July 2024 after appearing before Branch 1 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Quchan.

Ali Adinezadeh, father of slain protester Abolfazl Adinezadeh, has previously faced judicial action. His wife Goldasteh Hosseini-Jahanabad and daughter Marziyeh Adinezadeh have also been previously detained in connection with security-related cases.

Detention of Ali Adinezadeh, Father of Slain Protester, Extended Again in Quchan Prison

Ali Adinezadeh’s detention has been extended for another month. He is the father of Abolfazl Adinezadeh, a teenager who lost his life during the 2022 nationwide protests, and has been held in Quchan Prison for 43 days.

HRANA learned from a close contact of the detainee that his request to replace the detention order with bail has been denied, and his detention was extended by an additional 20 days. Adinezadeh has now spent 43 days in Quchan Prison with his status unresolved.

Adinezadeh was arrested on July 24, 2024, after appearing at Branch 1 of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Quchan, and was then transferred to the city’s prison.

Ali Adinezadeh Arrested and Transferred to Quchan Prison

Ali Adinezadeh, father of Abolfazl Adinezadeh, the teenager who was killed bu regime forces during the 2022 nationwide protests, was arrested today transferred to the city’s prison.

Based on information received by HRANA, Mr. Adinezadeh’s arrest took place today, Wednesday, July 24, after he appeared at Branch 1 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Quchan. Following his arrest, he was transferred to the city’s prison.
A source close to the family confirmed this news to HRANA and stated: “In recent days, Ali Adinezadeh received a summons to appear at the mentioned judicial branch to defend himself against charges, including ‘spreading falsehoods to disturb public opinion’ and ‘propaganda against the regime.'”

Adinezadeh has previously faced judicial actions due to his activities. His son, Abolfazl Adinezadeh was shot dead by regime forces during the 2022 nationwide protest in Mashhad, reportedly by 25 bullets.

Legal Action Initiated Against Ali and Marzieh Adinezadeh, Father and Daughter

Ali and Marzieh Adinezadeh, the father and sister of Abolfazl Adinezadeh, a teenager tragically killed by regime forces during the nationwide protests of 2022, now face legal repercussions. They have been accused of allegedly engaging in “propaganda against the regime.”

Today, on June 27, their lawyer Khosro Alikurdi revealed that the Mashhad Public and Revolutionary Court has officially registered a legal case against my clients, Ali and Marzieh Adinezadeh.

On June 16, 2023, just before Abolfazl Adinezadeh’s birthday, security forces apprehended these individuals, along with Abolfazl Adinezadeh’s mother, Goldasteh Hosseini Jahanabad, and uncle, Reza Adinezadeh. They were subsequently detained in prisons located in Shirvan and Bojnurd.

Four days later, Marzieh and her parents were granted release on bail.

During the 2022 nationwide protest in Mashhad, Abolfazl Adinezadeh tragically lost his life when he was allegedly shot by regime forces, reportedly sustaining 25 bullet wounds.

Three Family Members of Abolfazl Adinezadeh Arrested

Three family members of Abolfazl Adinezadeh, a minor who lost his life during the nationwide protests of 2022, have been apprehended by security forces on June 16, 2023.

According to a credible source who spoke with HRANA, as Abolfazl Adinezadeh’s birthday approached, his father, Ali Adinezadeh, sister Marzieh, and uncle Reza were violently arrested in Mashhad and taken to an undisclosed location.

In a video shared on social media, Goli Hosseini, Adinezadeh’s mother, expressed her anguish, stating that by arresting her husband and daughter, they are inflicting further pain upon her as a grieving mother. Prior to this incident, Ali Adinezadeh had already been summoned to a courthouse in Faruj, North Khorasan province.
