HRANA – Ali Doraghi (Abdolal Doraghi), a poet residing in Ahvaz, was arrested at his home by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to HRANA, citing Moj Ahvaz, Ali Doraghi (Abdolal Doraghi), 60, was arrested in Ahvaz on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
According to information obtained by HRANA, Doraghi had been summoned to the Ministry of Intelligence’s Information Office through a telephone call and a judicial summons prior to his arrest. However, he was unable to appear due to a heart condition and a history of cardiac surgery. Ultimately, on Tuesday, Ministry of Intelligence agents went to his residence and arrested him.
Doraghi’s medical condition has raised concerns among his family and relatives regarding his health and access to medical care during detention.
No information has been obtained regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, his place of detention, or his access to legal counsel and medical services.
Ali Doraghi, 60, a resident of Ahvaz, has previously faced legal proceedings and arrest in connection with his activities.
