Misagh Yazdannejad Released after Serving 9 Years

HRANA News Agency – Misagh Yazdannejad, political prisoner was released after 9 years and after a retrial.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after invalidating the sentence of 13 years in prison by the Supreme Court, Misagh Yazdannejad, imprisoned student and political prisoner was released after 9 years. Misagh Yazdannejad Transferred to Semnan Prison

HRANA News Agency – Misagh Yazdannejad, jailed student, was exiled to Semnan prison in the 9th year of his imprisonment. This political prisoner was transferred from Evin prison on 29th February and on 2nd March had a visit with his family during a cabin meeting.

Misagh Yazdannejad’s Trial Session Was Held in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – The court session of Misagh Yazdannejad was held on Tuesday February 16th, in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court. The imprisoned student’s sentence of 13 years imprisonment was rejected by the Supreme Court in its 9th year and his case is scheduled to be treated again.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Misagh Yazdannejad had been arrested on September 10, 2007 and was sentenced to 13 years in prison by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Salvati.
