The 6 Death Row Prisoners of Uremia Prison Met Their Families for the Last Time

HRANA News Agency – The families of 6 prisoners including Mohammad Abdollahi, political prisoner had their last visits with the prisoners who are going to be executed tomorrow. After the mass-execution of at least 20 Sunni prisoners and Shahram Amiri, nuclear scientist, to execute Mohammad Abdollahi could indicate the beginning of new notion which is very concerning.

Mohammad Abdollahi and 5 other Prisoners Scheduled to be Executed Tomorrow

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, political prisoner in Uremia Prison and at least 5 other prisoners have been transferred to solitary confinements to be executed. Mohammad Abdollahi had been on hunger strike for 32 days in protest at the “unjust” verdict and the way of handling his case since May 29, 2016 and accepted to end his strike after the authorities had promised him to agree with his retrial.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Abdollahi has been transferred to the solitary confinement along with 5 other prisoners who were charged with drug-related allegations in order to be executed. A Judicial and Intelligence Delegation Visits Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – On July 3, 2016, protection inspectors of Intelligence of Central Prison of Urmia visited political prisoners and spoke with them. During the meeting political prisoners called for the judiciary on behalf of Mr. Larijani to investigate judicial misconducts in their cases by expressing their problems.

Mohammad Abdollahi Ended his Hunger Strike after 32 Days

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, death row political prisoner in Central Prison of Urmia who was warned about the execution of his sentence and haf gone on an unlimited hunger strike to protest at the “unjust” verdict and the way of handling his case since May 29, 2016, ended his strike by official’s promise of enable the authorities to accept his retrial after 32 days on June 30 and was transferred to the ward from solitary confinement.

At Least 8 Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Dieferrent Prisons in Iran

HRANA News Agency – At least eight prisoners of conscience namely Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Maryam Naghash Zargararn, Mohammad Sediq Kaboudvand, Rasoul Razavi, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, Mohammad Abdollahi and Ayat Mehr Ali Beygloo are still on hunger strike in various prisons in protest to their situations. The physical condition of some of them has deteriorated. On the one hand doctors of Taleghani Hospital are trying to stop Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvand’s Potassium shortage. On the other hand, Jafar Azimzadeh was transferred to the Shohada Hospital on June 1, 2016 following the deterioration of his condition. Moreover, the prisoners, Arash Mokri and Mohammad Amin Agoshi also were on hunger strike last month, but the continuation or end of their strike is not known.

Mohammad Abdollahi Goes on Hunger Strike in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Abdollahi, death row political prisoner in Central Prison of Urmia who was warned about his sentence, has gone on an unlimited hunger strike to protest at the “unjust” verdict and the way of handling his case since May 29, 2016. This former resident of Bokan city has written an open letter to the Head of Judiciary in this regard, the text of which follows.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Abdollahi, 35, married and former resident of the city of Bokan was sentenced to death on charge of Muharebeh through membership in one of Kurdish opposition parties by branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Mahabad. Saman Naseem and 3 other Prisoners at Imminent Risk of Execution

HRANA News Agency – Following unusual changes in recent days, the authorities of Urmia prison, summoned four prisoners, including Saman Naseem, Mohammad Abdollahi and two other criminal prisoners and warned them that considering the new judiciary procedures, there is not a long time left until their execution.
