HRANA News Agency – Female prisoners in the women’s ward of Evin prison, held a ceremony on the occasion of “December 10, Human Rights Day”.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRNA), during the meeting, in order Atena Daemi, Maryam Naghash Zargaran, Mahvash Shahriari, Fahimeh Erafi, Setodeh Fazel, Maryam Akbari Monfared, Fatemeh Mosana, Golrokh Irai, Fariba Kamal Abadi, Mahin Izadi, Reyhaneh Tabatabaie, Ameneh Jaberi and Narges Mohammadi spoke and discussed the issues of human rights. The Campaign of ‘Rights of Prisoners’ Launched by a Letter of Atena Daemi

HRANA News Agency – Recently a campaign with the hashtag #right-of-prisoner with the aim of calling the head of prisons to respect the rights of inmates such as access to health care, has been launched based on the international law. The campaign has been organized on the basis of Atena Daemi’s letter before going to jail, by United for Iran.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Atena Daemi, jailed human rights activist wrote in a letter: “Today some of the bravest and most committed citizens are imprisoned because of their political, civil and human rights activities and authorities are refusing the provision of health care to prisoners by clearly violating domestic and international laws. The Newest List of Political Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, known as Nesvan ward, there are many mothers along with other women who are kept in a bad environment, phone calls are not allowed and visits are very limited. This report is trying to give an overview about the condition and status of 24 female political-security prisoners in this prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), currently, 32 female prisoners are kept in this ward with different charges, two of whom have financial charges and 30 of them are political-security prisoners. Narges Mohammadi Ended Her Hunger Strike after Achieving Her Demand

HRANA News Agency – Narges Mohammadi, prisoner of conscience, ended her hunger strike on its twentieth day, as she achieved her demand. She had had objected to the lack of access to contact her children and finally had a phone call with her children.

Narges Mohammadi Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Narges Mohammadi was transferred to the hospital on the 6th day of hunger strike.

HRANA News Agency – Narges Mohammadi, political prisoner in women’s ward of Evin prison, has gone on hunger strike in protest to denial of having telephone contact with her children. Officials Disagree with Narges Mohammadi’s Demand

HRANA News Agency – On July 1, the Deputy Prosecutor of Tehran told in the meeting with Narges Mohammadi, who has gone on hunger strike to protest to denial of telephone contact with her children that the security officials disagree with the phone call on. The imprisoned human rights activist need to take medicine to control diseases and continue the hunger strike will be unpleasant consequences.

At Least 5 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – The hunger strike of 5 political prisoners, namely, Jafar Aimzadeh, Ehsan Mazandarani, Mohammad Abdullahi, Shahram Poormansouri and Ayoub Asadzadeh continues. The physical condition of some of them, including Ehsan Mazandarani, and Jafar Azimzadeh, is reported to be critical. Narges Mohammadi, is another prisoner who has started her hunger strike in protest to not being allowed to have contact with her children.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ehsan Mazandarani, Jafar Azimzadeh, Mohammad Abdollahi, Shahram Poormansouri, Ayoub Asadzadeh and Nargers Mohammadi are on hunger strike in Evin, Rajai Shahr, Uremia, Tabriz and Kashmar prisons, in protest to their situations. Amnesty International Called for Immediate Release of Narges Mohammadi

HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International announced in a statement, April 20th as the date for the trial of Narges Mohammadi, calling for immediate release and action for the case of the defender of human rights.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amnesty International, in a statement said that the human rights defender and prisoner of conscience Narges Mohammadi had been informed that her trial would be on April 20.
