The student publication of Razi University was banned

HRANA News Agency – The student publication which called Bisetoon and published by the students of Razi university of Kermanshah was banned.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) quoted from Daneshjoo News, the independent Bisetoon student publication which had a high amount of publish around 500 copies every volume, was banned.

Around two years ago this publication was banned one more time because of woes of Kaihan newspaper. On April 23rd of 2011 Kaihan newspaper thanked Razi university officials for repressions of the free activities of student groups and did woes against publishing Bisetoon publication. After the woes of Kaihan newspaper the officials of Razi university banned Bisetoon publication.

Now after two years from the time that this publication banned for first time, again it was banned while this publication released news, reports and articles which were interested for the students. Also according to the observers Bisetoon publication was one of the best ones among all the student publications of the universities inside the country.

This publication was banned close to the next presidential elections because of releasing a report related to the dossier of Sattar Beheshti. Also it has to be mentioned that this report was released about three months ago but the officials got suspicious to it and banned the publication.
