HRANA News Agency – Saeid Ardashir, a supporter of Halgheh theosophy, who is detained in Rajaei Shahr prison, has been sentenced to 6 months in prison for another case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Ardashir, a Halgheh theosophy activist who is currently detained for a 5 years sentence, has been sentenced to another 6 months in a new case.
According to HRANA’s sources, this new sentence is for his recent detention on August 16, 2015, that resulted in his imprisonment in Rajaei Shahr prison.
Need to be mentioned, Saeid Ardashir was arrested for mounting a banner in solidarity with and support of Mohammad Ali Taheri, and was transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison.
Saeid Ardashir is a Halgheh theosophy activist who had been arrested in February 2013 by the intelligent service and was transferred to Evin prison. After being released on the bail he was tried in August 2013 in branch number 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh and charged with sacrilege, by promoting Halgheh theosophy, and sentenced to conditional 5 years in prison, returning unfair wealth gathered by selling Halghe theosophy products, interference with physician’s occupation, and 365 million Tomans fine.
This sentence was confirmed after 4 times review in branch number 54 of the appeal court by judge Poor Arab.
Need to be mentioned that workplace of Saeid Ardashir’s has been sealed and according to HRANA’s sources, judge Poor Arab stated that because there was no court order for the seal, it was not possible for him to break the seal. It is said that the seal has done by the order of the intelligent service.
