Ali Sallanpoor in Critical Health Condition in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ali Sallanpoor  who was transferred to hospital last week on Wednesday, was returned to prison due to lack of beds in hospital and as it wasn’t coordinated with hospital, and he is still in serious conditions in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Sallanpoor , political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, on Wednesday last week, was transferred to Shohadaye Tajrish hospital with handcuffs and shackle, to be seen by a surgeon and then to get necessary treatment.
On that day, he was returned to prison due to lack of coordination and lack of beds available for re-admission and to the time of this report no remedial action was taken.
An informed source told HRANA’s reporter: “Last month Ali Sallanpoor  had a very difficult operation with a high risk of damage to his spinal cord and he must be under special care and another operation on his neck’s vertebrae to go. However, the authorities are indifferent to pursue his medical treatment status.”
Likewise, Hassan Tafah, other political prisoner in ward 12, who is suffering from leukaemia, on 25th December, should had be sent to the medical centre out of prison to be seen by specialists but it was postponed till 27th. On 27th December, blood specialist issued his expertise advice regarding sending him immediately to a medical leave and he will soon be sent to furlough.
